Have any of you heard what's happened to Montezuma's revenge? Ever since my computer crashed, I've been trying to get me a copy but I am unable to find it anymore. Is there anyone who has a copy of it? If so, thanks.

I think USA Games took it down, and is making something different.

I haven't heard what happened to that, but would be interested too. Tom Ward is a great guy and that was set to be a pretty damn fine game. I think it may be time to check out the site again adn see what else he's working on.

Hi, Nope, the game wasn't free but one was able to play a demo of it. I have a copy, but like I said its the demo. would be best to wait for TombHunter which they are still busy with. however a trailler of the new tombHunter can be downloaded from the below link:

Hi, please download the demo version of the game from here

note:
before installation check whether you have the .net framework 2.0 installed or higher as well as directX 9.0 or higher installed. or if you think you might have it,just install the game and see if it works.
some people might say that beta eight of this game is out, but that beta has a different character and is montezuma's return whilst this beta is montezuma's revenge.

Hi,
Montezuma's Revenge is now TombHunter due to copyright issues. Apparantely, just changing the title wasn't enough, so Tom had to re-do the entire game. Tom Ward is awesome, and is one of, if not the best, audiogame developer we have.

Ah so that's what happened. And agreed. He's also one hell of a helpful guy. When I was dabbling in accessible games he gave me loads of advice and was, (probably still is), extremely active on the agdev list.

Tom Hunter is now released.
You can find it at the new usa games website at www.usagamesinteractive.com
The game is in open beta form at the moment and at the moment we are at beta3.

Actually now we're into Beta 4. I agree, a rockin' game. I think it's gonna be loads better than Montezuma's Revenge could ever have been.
